結い市一日目、気持ちのいい秋晴れの元無事終了しました。
神社や市内各所に多くの作家・店舗が立ち並び、
出展者と来場者の方々の活気あるやりとりで賑わう様子は
普段とは違う新鮮な光景でした。
スタッフ小池が目撃した結い市一日目の一部をご紹介。
恒例の繁昌祈願から。朝の爽やかな空気と、開始前のほどよい緊張感。
ちんどん屋さんが陽気な音楽を奏でながら練り歩きます。神楽殿で出演いただいた方々の音楽も、時折風に乗ってやってきます。
自転車にお菓子を積んで、街なかを巡るインフォメーションセンター。その名も「結いのケーキ」。開始早々売り切れる程の大人気。バルーンパフォーマーのイタコマコトさんの周りにはたくさんの子供たち。
普段見慣れた景色がはっと息を呑む風景に。作家さんの力を改めて感じました。
音のインスタレーション。テーマである結城の「音」を印象に残してもらいたいと、大きな繭の中からは、結城紬が作られる工程の特徴的な音をコラージュして流しています。苔むした庭の栗の古木からは無数の繭が風に揺れ、夜は幻想的に照らし出されます。記念写真にもどうぞ。
結城酒造の酒蔵では美味しい食べ物やクラフト作家の出展に加えて、アートパフォーマンスイベント“ありあるクリエーションズ”アートプロジェクトを開催。酒造りに欠かせない水をモチーフにした作品や結城の音を素材にした音楽など、土地や歴史から生まれた作品たち。

同時多発的に様々な場所で様々なイベントや
展示が行われている結い市では、楽しみ方も人それぞれ。
お気に入りの場所でじっくりと過ごす方も、
スタンプ会場を番号順に巡る方も。
お目当てのお店の買い物を楽しむ方も、
のんびり音楽に耳を傾ける方も。
来場者や出展者の方々が結い市の感想として
SNS等で話題に上げられる場所も多種多様で、
それぞれの方の経験した結城での一日の話は
まさにその方が「編集」した結城の姿であり、
とても興味深く刺激的です。
結い市をきっかけに結城の魅力を知ってくださったり
出展者さんとのご縁が生まれるのも嬉しいですし、
来場された方が結城の街を楽しんでくださることで
結城に長く住む方々が活き活きと輝いていく様子も、
とても嬉しいことです。
笑顔や元気をもらい、おすそわけする、
素敵な循環の輪が生まれているように感じます。
フィナーレの二日目も、絶好の散策日和。
11:00〜17:00は一日目に続き、『「結い」で繋がる市』。
一日目とは異なる出展者さんも多数登場します。
旅のCAFEによる、結い市ツアーも。
そして、20:30までは『行灯の灯りと雅楽の夕べ』。
先日のワークショップで制作した、色とりどりの結城紬の行灯が会場を照らし、
ジャズや雅楽の調べが響き渡ります。
今日しか見られない結城を感じに来てください。
